Forms

Use the Records Retention Form to establish a records retention schedule. Use the Records Disposal Authorization form to obtain authorization from Records Administration, Legislative Services Office and the State Archivist to discard inactive records. The CPIS inventory tags are used for all equipment that is purchased for state govenrment use.

State Records Manual

The State Records Manual (Statute 67-4126) was created to promote coordination and collaboration in records management across state agencies to establish standards and policies.

 

Digitization Standards for Idaho Agencies 

Digitization Standards for Idaho Agencies (Appendix 2: State Records Manual)(Statute 67-4126) were created to clarify agency responsibilities in meeting the requirements of the Idaho Code, policies, standards and best practices for digitzation.

 

Public Records Law 

Idaho Public Records Law Manual Idaho Code 9-337 through 9-350. Idaho Code 9-349 Replevin addresses the improper or unlawful transfer or removal of public records.
