The Idaho State Historical Society’s goal is to illuminate the state’s future by helping people of all ages explore and appreciate Idaho’s rich past.  We do this in a variety of ways, including the annual commemoration of Archaeology and Historic Preservation Month, Idaho History Day, a program of highway historical markers, grants and awards, and technical assistance.  We serve the entire state as part of our mission to preserve and promote Idaho’s cultural heritage.  To accomplish that mission, we rely upon our partners and their collective efforts and contributions; we also seek to assist our partners in their professional development.  If you believe we can provide technical assistance for your organization or project, please contact (208) 334-2682 or e-mail us.
