Listen to Interviews and Read Transcripts
Read transcripts and listen to audio at the Public Archives and Research Library, 2205 Old Penitentiary Road, Boise ID 83712, from 9 to 5, Wednesday through Saturday. Most interviews in the collection are also available through interlibrary loan services. Consult the staff at your own public library for assistance. Indexes, audio clips, and some complete interviews can be accessed on this web site by following project links.
About two thirds of the interviews have been transcribed. Every interview has an index that lists the topics, places, and people discussed by the narrator. Copies of most recordings and transcripts are available for sale. We charge $5.00 per cassette tape, $10 per CD, 50 cents per page of printed material, and $5.00 for shipping and handling. Please consult staff for details about individual interviews.
