Description

March 4, 2013 marks the 150th anniversary of the creation of Idaho Territory by President Abraham Lincoln. “Get Territorial: Idaho at 150” is a grassroots effort among individuals, communities, and agencies across the state to educate Idahoans about their heritage and to commemorate the 150th milestone. Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter will help commemorate the Territorial Sesquicentennial, or 150th anniversary, with a presentation during a ceremony on the Capitol steps.
